My family lived in Nigeria in the early nineteen sixties and collected beautiful items. Some were bought in the markets and some were bought from a Hausa trader.

Ibeji Dolls
Yoruba twin dolls. Dolls were carved to represent twins when one or both died. The mother "fed" and clothed the doll and cared for it.
